Pond Pads and Pond Strip are made in Britain from cleaned barley straw stitched between layers of specially designed knitted cotton netting.

Pond Pads are 7 inches (180 mm) square x ½ inch (12 mm) thick. Each pad will treat a pond of up to 700 gallons (3 cu m) for 4 months. In case of heavy algal infestation we recommend that double or even treble this dose be used until the algae is under control when the dose may be reduced.

Pond Strip is 7 inches (180 mm) wide x ½ inch (12 mm) thick x 33 ft (10 m) long. It will treat a pond of up to 1,000 sq ft (100 sq m) of water surface area for 4 months. In cases of heavy infestation we recommend that the dose be increased as for Pond Pads.

Pond Mat 5ft (1500mm) wide x ½ inch thick is supplied in rolls 20m long. The typical dose rate is 140 metres per ha of water surface area.
